In 1939, he is part of the leadership of the Peasant Federation of Havana. The following year he joined the Communist Revolutionary Union Party and two years later joined the Popular Socialist Party. He became one of the main leaders of the National Peasant Association, established in 1941. His extensive revolutionary work took place within the peasant sector, from the clandestine struggle to the tasks of the Revolution.
Antero Regalado Falcón was the president of the Peasant Federation of Havana in 1959 and the organizing secretary of the National Association of Small Farmers. He was a member of the Central Committee of the Party. He offered his collaboration in the Secretariat of International Relations of ANAP until his death on December 2, 1972. In the year that marks the 60th anniversary of the First Law of Agrarian Reform, we pay homage to this peasant leader.
