This is how Angelito Valiente summed up the prolific life of the Ariguanabense maestro Felix Romero de la Osa.
Felix Timoteo Romero de la Osa was born in San Antonio de los Baños, on March 18, 1927. He studied Industrial Technician, Non-university Accountant and Doctor in Pedagogy. He was an active participant in scientific events, such as the Rural Education Congress, the national seminars of the Ministry of Education, the Forum of Science and Technology and the Ariguanabo Literature Symposiums.
His work in the integral formation of children and young people and his contribution to the education in values deserves a special mention. He taught Political Training courses and carried out activities related to his texts: ''El libro de los juegos y Estampas ariguanabenses''. His work in secondary education and in the Institute of Educational Improvement, reserved him a top place in the educational history of his hometown.
De la Osa received dissimilar awards for his contribution to the quality of education and the development of community culture. He had the Literacy Medal, the Distinction for Cuban Education and the Frank País Order.
