The process of popular consultation on the Draft Constitution of the Republic of Cuba in San Antonio de los Baños generates important proposals and opinions, which will contribute to enrich the final elaboration of the Magna Carta.
This process takes place in work centers, circumscriptions and educational centers, where people can add, omit or change words, sentences or paragraphs. With respect to the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR), in various circumscriptions in the Ariguanabo, the most debated articles are 68 (Chapter: 3); Social, economic and cultural rights, belonging to Title 4: Rights, duties and guarantees. Regarding Title 6: Structure of the State, it is proposed to agree with the positions President of the Republic and Prime Minister, which may arise with the Constitutional Reform. However, some people do not agree with the established age, so that, if there is will and health, the President can be elected the first time, with more than 60 years.
On the other hand, in Title 8: Local Bodies of People's Power, it is proposed that the delegate exercise his position professionally and have resources and powers, because he is the only one elected by the people directly. The Constitution will govern the lives of current and future generations of Cubans.
