A delegation headed by Maribel Bravo David, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) in charge of the political-ideological sphere, toured the communities of the Rural West People's Council, specifically El Borjita, Las Mercedes and Macondo, located in the municipality of San Antonio de los Baños.
The official, together with representatives of the government, the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC), the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR), the Science, Technology and Environment Section (CITMA), social workers, among others, met with neighbors and delegates with the aim of knowing their problems and needs.
Bravo David highlighted "This tour is a way to perfect work in distant communities. We are going to undertake this group of actions in other communities as well, since the people really need it ". On the other hand, he made a call to participate and support the constitutional reform that will be carried out throughout the country.
