Children's Day in Cuba is celebrated every year on the third Sunday in July. It is a commemorative day dedicated to children, who represent the future of our society.
Children's Day was celebrated in San Antonio de los Baños, with different cultural activities. The party took place in the Paso del Soldado neighborhood, specifically circumscriptions 7 and 8.
The activity began with children's music and the performance of the theater company Los Cuenteros. Isel Chacón Díaz, director of the Museum of Humor, also participated in the activity with the presentation of cartoons made by contemporary plastic artists to different Cuban musicians.
Physical Education teachers and art instructors of the José Martí Brigade held participation games with the children and their families, who enjoyed this day among music, theater, plastic arts, games and humor.
