More than thirty years ago in San Antonio de los Baños, the International Film and Television School (EICTV) was founded. The writer Gabriel García Márquez had the great idea, with the unconditional support of the leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro Ruz. Under the premise of being an institution for artistic training, the EICTV's main objective is the development of creative talent and the defense of the right to its own image and to see films from all over the world.
