Humans without right

Every Monday morning, Radio Reloj wakes us up with a surprising and enlightening comment about the reality of the United States. Its author, an ariguanabense expert journalist, Nicanor León Cotayo. His most recent book, Humans Without Right, collects many of these topics.

The United States, self-proclaimed "the greatest defender of human rights", systematically violates them all over the world, as in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen or the Guantánamo Naval Base. Appealing to official reports of the North American government, Leon Cotayo demonstrates with hairs and signals the repeated and criminal violations carried out in the territory of the United States against blacks, poor, Indians and illusioned immigrants who seek the "American dream".

A small book, but of extraordinary value, reveals the true core of American society dominated by the most ruthless interest and the law of money. Hence, the continuous shootings and killings in schools and universities. But this is not the only threat that their children suffer: millions of children have no home to live in and seek refuge under bridges or in the streets. Thousands of them drop out of school, and illiteracy has grown alarmingly. Health care is in danger under the economic cuts of the Donald Trump government. Unemployment, rent of houses, discrimination and police repression against blacks are testimonies offered by Nicanor's book. All information taken from official Yankee publications.

Perhaps, the most striking image of the book is that of a woman with a sign: "My name is Sharon, please help me, I'm hungry ..."
