The Municipal Electoral Commission (CEM) validates the results of the 2017-2018 electoral process in San Antonio de los Baños. Lourdes Arcacha Carballosa, president of the CEM, read the summary document of the electoral process, where various aspects were evaluated, including: performance of electoral structures, training actions, voter registries, propaganda, communication, transportation, computer security and budget, among others.
On the results, Arcacha Carballosa said: "Although the general elections in San Antonio de los Baños were carried out as established, there are still difficulties that must be taken into account for future processes. We must work with the youngest to join the task of rectifying the voter registries and strengthening the structure of the polling stations. "
The meeting was attended by Maribel Bravo David, member of the Party Bureau in charge of the Political-Ideological sphere; Diosbel Rojas, secretary of the Provincial Electoral Commission; Pedro Luis Sánchez, provincial vocal; Gilma Ravelo, secretary of the Municipal Assembly of People's Power; Katia Alonso and Osmani Aguilar, provincial delegates, as well as electoral authorities of the territory.
An important moment during the assembly was the recognition to the authorities that stood out in the elections, as well as to the organisms that guaranteed the effectiveness of the elections in the territory.
