World Consumer Rights Day

World Consumer Rights Day is celebrated to promote that our fundamental rights are respected and protected. J.F. Kennedy, the president of the USA, declared the consumers rights publicly for the first time on March 15th, 1962. This date has been celebrated ever since. The recognition and defense of consumer rights is an important indicator of social and economic progress. Among the fundamental rights of consumers are the right to satisfy basic needs, the right to security, to information, to education and the right to a healthy and sustainable environment. Demanding our rights is everyone's responsibility. In the face of any event, we must claim what belongs to us, it is our right.
