A brigade of the Cuban Telecommunications Company (ETECSA) in San Antonio de los Baños works efficiently in terms of maintenance and repair of telephone networks. The team is composed of 4 workers, who have the necessary technical training to undertake different repairs. Two of them are dedicated specifically to work in the state and residential sector (Alternative Fixed Telephony). In the case of public telephones, two workers undertake these functions.
According to Rolando Cruz Acosta, head of the ETECSA Center in the territory, the repairs carried out by the brigade arise from the reports made by the population related to breakages or repairs, for the general maintenance of telecommunications networks. The leader said that the plans are met, according to the number of repairs made. The main thing is to satisfy of the customres' needs in order to maintain the quality of the service.
