The different productive forms in San Antonio de los Baños have established a plan of actions to confront illegalities that may arise in the internal functioning and in the administration of the material resources they have for the performance of their work.
According to the technician in Agronomy Esel Díaz Matos, worker of the Basic Unit of Cooperative Production Batalla de las Guásimas, the confrontation to the illegalities is a priority task. Therefore, in the cooperative the system of guards and tours by the directors is organized to control the operation of the entity. In this way, and with the closure system established in the offices and warehouses, the resources they own are safeguarded. Another important element is the Human Resources Department. Here, the workforce of the unit is verified monthly, as well as the salary earned, so that there are no errors regarding the application of the salary norm and the budget.
The workers know the disciplinary measures that are applied in case of any illegality. Díaz Matos said that the members of the PCC (Communist Party of Cuba) analyze how to face corruption, crime and illegalities. In this way, the resources that the Cuban State assigns to the production of food are safeguarded.
