The work of art instructors In San Antonio de los Baños, it is a way to extend culture to every corner of the town, according to Ileana Cañer Barbosa, communicator of the Raimundo Valenzuela Culture House.
The specialist pointed out: ''Art instructors are an active entity in the communities and schools of the territory. These young people teach appreciation-creation workshops, according to the artistic manifestation of each instructor. In this way, the students are sensitized with the music, dance, plastic arts and theater; contributing to the integral formation of children and young people".
Regarding the community work developed by these young people, Cañer Barbosa stated that amateur groups participate in cultural activities held in the communities. Art instructors offer the most authentic national and universal art and provide quality cultural services, strengthening identity and idiosyncrasy.
Mayisleidis Álvarez Seguí, president of the José Martí Art Instructors Brigade in the territory, said that the brigadistas prioritizes the organization of activities in which authentic and aesthetic values are transmitted to the inhabitants. The support of cultural institutions is very important to develop quality community work, she added.
