Artemisa's Correos de Cuba Enterprise during 2017

The provincial Correos de Cuba Enterprise (Cuban post office) in Artemisa analyzed the work carried out during 2017, by carrying out the annual balance.

The reading of the report analyzed through the different indicators the achievements and the deficiencies of the entity. Among the results, the increase in services was highlighted (correspondence, money orders, telegrams, national and international postal packages, and the payment of telephone bills in the units of the municipalities), in comparison with 2016. Commercial campaigns, including postcards and almanacs, were successfully completed. In 2017, there was a decrease in home services. This aspect led to a great debate in search of improving this indicator and solving other difficulties.

The meeting was attended by workers and managers representing the units of the 11 municipalities of Artemisa, who approved the work objectives for 2018; among them, ensuring that the universal postal service and other non-basic services satisfy the population's requirements through the integral improvement of all the processes that affect its provision, as well as expanding services and products with high social impact for an adequate commercial management. They also made the moral stimulation to workers with better performance during the past year and elected the representatives for the Annual Balance Assembly at the national level.
