Ariguanabense collaborators offer services in several countries

More than 95 collaborators of the territory offer solidarity support in the spheres of public health, sports and education, in several countries. Brazil, Venezuela, Bolivia, Haiti, Algeria, Angola and Namibia are among the countries with the largest presence of Ariguanabenses.

Altinay Calero Pérez, head of the Collaboration Area in the municipality, highlights the work carried out by these internationalists away from the homeland and their families by bringing health and education to the neediest nations. During 2017, San Antonio de los Baños collaborated with more than a dozen nations and carried out essential tasks such as economic collaboration, foreign investment and foreign trade. The health sector is the most represented, with 92 workers, including specialist doctors, nurses and technicians.

The representatives of the municipality  Collaboration Area visit the collaborators' relatives  in order to support them, if necessary. In order to continue with this human assistance, an analysis will be made on February 15 to evaluate the work carried out during the past year and analyze the objectives for 2018.
