The House of Culture Raymundo Valenzuela of San Antonio de los Baños proposes to visit the collective exhibition of the weaving creation workshop ''Arte con Hilo''. This creation workshop has fifteen members, led by Xiomara Socarrás Estupiñán. On this occasion, twelve workshop members present their results; twenty works summarized in garments and ornamentals such as blouses, dresses, a tablecloth and a poster.
The technique used in the elaboration of the pieces is crochet. The works stand out for their freshness and elegance, achieved through the art of weaving. The show was inaugurated on January 24 and will be open to the public until February 24, from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 8 pm, and Saturday from 8 am to 12 pm.
"There is a lot of art in these threads and in these hands". This was the note dedicated to the protagonists of the exhibition by Anet García Lemus, Methodologist of the House of Culture, who participated in the curatorship and assembly of this exhibition.
