The Municipal Assembly of People's Power, together with the Party Municipal Committee, approved a program of activities to be carried out by the delegates to the Provincial Assembly and the deputies to the Cuban Parliament in San Antonio de los Baños.
The program includes visits to the Lázaro Peña Tobacco Enterprise, the Tobacco Research Institute, the Basic Unit of Cooperative Production (UBPC) Batalla de las Guásimas, the new bakery located in the Raúl Hernández Vidal community, Batalla del Jigüe and Mártires de Humboldt 7 schools, and the Eduardo Abela Professional Art Academy, among others. In addition, they will hold conversations with residents of different districts of the municipality.
Yadelkis Hernández Morales, president of the Municipal Assembly of People's Power, explained that the plan of activities could be longer, but the circumstances related to the weather prevented it. With this tour, the delegates and deputies will have a detailed information of the political, economic and social life of the city to initiate the actions that allow a substantial improvement in the Ariguanabo.
