Workers of the Education Sector in San Antonio de los Baños celebrated the Educator's Day at the municipal ceremony held at the Rafael Valdés Pérez Secondary School. Representatives of the Party, the Workers Union and the Municipal Government were present at the activity.
During the event, the meritorious work carried out by the most experienced educators, the recently graduated teachers from the Pedagogical School, the retired and reincorporated teachers, as well as prominent leaders and centers were recognized. Also, tribute was paid to the greatest educator, who made great efforts to raise the culture of the Cuban people, our Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
Ivón Álvarez Cruzata, Director General of Education read the congratulations sent by the Directorate of People's Power in the Ariguanabo. In addition, educators with significant results received the condition ''Maestro para la Patria''.
