Students celebrate 95th Anniversary of the FEU

This December 20th marks the 95th anniversary of the University Student Federation (FEU). University students paid tribute to its founder Julio Antonio Mella, and to the leader of the Revolution Fidel Castro, as a follower of the organization's revolutionary legacy.

The president of the FEU in San Antonio de los Baños, José Carlos Tejeda Álvarez, dedicated the main words to Commander Fidel, and to the validity of his legacy in the formation of the new generations. The members of the Federation secretariat highlighted the achievements of the organization in the territory and awards were given to the outstanding students.

With the presence of representatives of the Municipal Bureau of the Party and the Union of Young Communists, as well as amateur artists of the House of Culture and professors of the university headquarters, the municipal act was held between patriotic songs and declamations.
