Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz always trusted young people. His revolutionary spirit was the guide of many generations of Cubans who were part of the vanguard that achieved the final triumph and those who were born and participated in the advancement of the Socialist Homeland.
This is demonstrated by his words: "To believe in young people is to see in them enthusiasm, ability, energy, responsibility, youth, purity, heroism, character, will, love for the Motherland, faith in the Motherland!"
That impetus, that freshness, naturalness and enthusiasm are typical of young people. The disposition without fear, before any circumstance, that characteristic energy and courage manages to start up any motor, as did the young people of the centennial generation.
For more than fifty years of the Revolution, many Cubans have identified faithfully with Fidel's ideology. Young people express their values of altruism, courage, modesty, sacrifice, solidarity, responsibility and ethical and moral values that our leader always expressed. Hence the challenge of maintaining achievements in health, education, scientific research and economics, among others
We are clear about something, as the Commandant said: "If young people fail, everything will fail. It is my deepest conviction that Cuban youth will fight to prevent it. I believe in you ». As he always believed in youth, today we have the duty to maintain his legacy and his convictions to give continuity to the work of the Cuban Revolution, the greatest achievement he achieved for the good of all.
