The National Association of Innovators and Rationalizers (ANIR) in San Antonio de los Baños is responsible for grouping, organizing and mobilizing its members. The Labor Directorate is aimed at contributing to the development of any economic activity of production, services or defense, which demands intelligence, creativity, dedication, commitment and the response of these workers.
In the municipality there are 30 committees of innovators and rationalizers, according to Mileidy Ortega García, organizer at the headquarters of the Workers Central Union (CTC). The specialist added that the ANIR in San Antonio de los Baños has a total of 481 associates, among which there are 181 females.
The associates are distributed in 7 companies: Lázaro Peña Tobacco Enterprise, Twisted Tobacco, Trucks, Dairy Products Company, Tobacco Research Institute, Confecciones Ariguanabo Enterprise and ALUTEC. These entities contribute 2 percent of the income, from those jobs that contribute to the economy.
Ortega García pointed out that one of the work projections for the next stage is to continue strengthening the work of the Association so that it fulfills its mission in the work centers, in addition to correct planning of the innovative activity, the financial and material assurance of the thematic plans, the periodic evaluation of the results and their impact on economic indicators.
This will be carried out from the development and control of savings programs, the stimulation system, the collective work agreement, as well as the design of training strategies for leaders.
