The National Association of Innovators and Rationalizers (ANIR) is the organization in charge of promoting and guiding the creative initiative of the workers. Such is the case of the Forum of Science and Technology carried out by the workers of the enterprise Confecciones Ariguanabo, in search of technical and productive solutions.
According to Esperanza Plumas Sandoval, head of the Engineering Group, 13 papers were presented at the forum. The commissions were related to the Recovery of spare parts and energy, Technology and Design and Economy and Informatics. The most relevant works were, among others: the replacement of the machine engine Textima and the adjustment screws; the recovery of 49 technological equipment and the data collector for the recovery of raw material.
Plumas Sandoval also pointed out that the outstanding innovators were recognized and awarded for the quality of their researches, the reduction of costs and the increase of the installation capacities, fulfilling with the tasks of the thematic, generalization, technical-economic and savings plan. In addition, the works were sent to the national level for evaluation.
