The work of young artists as teachers in different schools and in the House of Culture, as well as their role in cultural projection are necessary elements for the development of a successful teaching-learning process in San Antonio de los Baños.
Beatriz Leypín Galván, methodologist of creation and specialist of the Amateur Artists Movement in the municipality, reported that in the House of Culture there are 15 active art instructors of different specialties: dance, theater, fine arts and music. These instructors work in different schools and also participate with groups of amateurs in cultural activities held in the municipality.
Leypín Galván added that the institution carries out creation and appreciation workshops. Two young plastic artists stand out: Adonis Marqueti Ponce, art instructor at the Domingo Lence primary school, who has made several personal exhibitions and Jesús Javier Alayón, a graduate from San Alejandro School, teaches workshops in Federico Engels and Julio Pérez schools. Both also develop workshops for children and young people.
