Photo: InternetThe farmers of San Antonio de los Baños overfulfilled the plan of production and delivery of milk to the industry and to the grocery stores of the territory, according to the results and control carried out by the Agricultural Enterprise of the municipality.
Elio Pino, head of Livestock of the enterprise reported that in the first half of the year the producers exceeded 9 thousand liters of milk (101 percent), thanks to the will and effort of the farmers and the efficient work of transporters. The official said that there was an increase of milk delivery to the industry (more than 1,000 liters) and to the grocery stores (more than 9,000 liters).
Pino Rodríguez pointed out that, taking into account the contracts made by the company with the producers, more than 11 thousand liters of milk were delivered (102 percent). These figures show what is being done to replace imports and raise productivity.
