The Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), headed by the first secretary, Jorge Luis Valle Portales and the political-ideological official Maribel Bravo David, analyzed the socio-political work carried out in San Antonio de los Baños until September.
The territory shows a slight advance in the promotion to integrate the ranks of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC). In 2016 there were 1762 members of the PCC but at present there are 1787. These data show that the militancy has increased, thanks to the work of the political officials in each workplace.
Maribel Bravo David, political-ideological official of the PCC Municipal Committee, said that the role of the militants in the selection of young people to join the ranks of the PCC and the Union of Young Communists (UJC) is vital. The militants must be protagonists in selecting the best young people, because they represent the continuity of the revolutionary work.
