Photo: Luis Alberto DH / RAThe Training Seminar on Development Programs was held at The Tobacco Research Institute in San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa. The meeting generated exchanges, doubts, experiences and ideas on specific topics that producers should know. The seminar was attended by the presidents of Credit and Services Cooperatives and Agricultural Production Cooperatives, economists and legal advisers and grassroots organizations.
The participants received indications that will help the development of their entities. Among the topics are: contracting, marketing, the importance of knowing the characteristics of the soils located in the basin, health and means of protection of workers, economy according to production and technologies. In this sense, the use of technological resources and the means to achieve the objectives were analyzed.
According to the sector authorities in the province of Artemisa, this event was the most complete and successful. Now only remains to work and implement plans to produce more and better.
