Irma is already history. Irma passed over the northern portion of Cuba with many sorrows and no glory, leaving the green caiman destroyed. But Cuba raised its forces. Professionals reported minute by minute what was happening. Journalists, advisors, program directors, computer scientists, among others worked intensely, with the force of the hurricane. The information department of Radio Ariguanabo together with all areas, multiplied the forces to return to normal.
September 21st was not an ordinary day for Radio Ariguanabo. Flowers, diplomas and applause brightened the day.
Evelyn González Estrada, received the stamp "95th Anniversary of the Cuban Radio".
Alejandro Lóriga Santos (Right) was awarded the prize of the Young Communists League (UJC) for his journalistic work during the passage of Irma.
