The World Youth and Students Festival 2017, to be held from 15 to 21 October in the city of Sochi, Russia, will host young Cubans, who will dedicate this youth party to Fidel and Che.
The youth has much to show by the imprint left by the Commander: his ideas, thoughts and denunciations. The Cuban delegation, with its mission of solidarity, will be accompanied by its historic leader, because in each space it will raise its voice in the name of the island.
The Cuban delegation will be proud to pronounce his name and will dialogue with the language we all know, that of peace; but with the conviction they learned from Fidel. How many young people will come to talk and admire these young rebels, capable and fearless, as their leader was? How many young people will pay attention to the pronouncements of the Cuban delegates, as a legacy of the Commander?
The troop of students and workers from thousands of sectors will unite with one voice "For Peace, Solidarity and Social Justice, we Struggle against Imperialism, Honoring our past, we Build the Future!"; this is the motto of the festival, a principle taught to us by the eternal Commander. The Cuban youth will go to the festival with Fidel, holding hands like a young man.
