Urban, Suburban and Family Agriculture in San Antonio de los Baños prepares the conditions to start in September the winter campaign 2017- 2018.
The director of Urban Agriculture in Ariguanabo, Yaima Hernández Jaime, said that they intend to develop the program satisfactorily. They already have a seedbed with different plant varieties, among them, tomato, pepper, lettuce, cauliflower and broccoli.
The specialist added that they have the organic urban gardens necessary to achieve a good harvest and thus comply with the plans for this season. They also expect a visit from the National Group of Urban Agriculture at the beginning of September to verify compliance with the requirements for the new production campaign.
