Ariguanabo's young women are present in all aspects of society, not only in the work of the organization, but also in sectors such as Education, Public Health, Agriculture and Sport, as well as holding leadership positions in the Assembly of People's Power, in non-state employment and popular councils.
The Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) in the territory supports young women in their participation in social activities. According to Belkys Rodríguez Hernández, secretary of the organization in the municipality, the FMC works for the maximum participation of women in various actions, with the aim of increasing political influence in their citizenship and revolutionary formation. Among the organization's tasks are the incorporation of young women to grassroots organizations.
Today, San Antonio de los Baños proposes to bring young women together in management positions in prioritized and economic sectors. Also work is done for the incorporation of females into the Voluntary Military Service for Women. From the communities to the labor centers, the FMC's support for Cuban women is visualized.
