More than 40 young people from 16 nationalities received their degree in the specialties of the International School of Film and Television (EICTV) in San Antonio de los Baños. New filmmakers and artists who will extol the name of a center that prepared them as good professionals, those with whom Fernando Birri, Gabriel García Márques and Fidel Castro dreamed. Let's see what happened at Finca San Tranquilino, a geographical space where the EICTV is located.

Message from Fernando Birri, founding and director of the EICTV
Thirty times Aleluya, for every year that our beloved "Three and All Worlds" school has been able to resist, in its commitment to form new generations for our New Latin American Cinema, and for the world.
Thanks to Susana Molina, current director, who with the coherence of her enlightened behavior and the wisdom of her balanced experience, has managed to overcome one of our organic EICTV growth crisis.
To her and all the collaborators, teachers, students and workers, who have adhered to this new stage of our process, which is a living process that lives and relives every day, and therefore contradictory and dialectical: Aleluya! Thirty times and one more, and the latter is called "tomorrow."
And on this anniversary, do not forget the repeated advice: "Las mil y una noche" (and here adapted to the circumstances): ¡Loores to the little magical apparatus of Mélies and the Lumiére, which gives wings to the first flight of the birds, which makes the kid dance from its birth, which makes the mane of the young lion grows, which makes jumping out of the river, sprouting from the rock and that puts in the heart of the EICTV graduates an invincible and beautiful instinct, such as cockcrow by the dawn!
To all, as for thirty soles, thirty hurricanes, thirty Caribbean rainbows good health, good work, good electronic images and good star!
