He is a giant for his thought, action, audacity and concern, not only for Cuba but for the world. His lessons evoke the great and victorious struggles such as the defeat of Apartheid in Africa. Fidel is a paradigm of ideological firmness and love for his people. Follower of Marti's ideas, he warned the peoples about the arrogance of the empire as mediator of the peoples' destiny.
Fidel will always be in the vanguard. Men like Fidel never withdraw, because his thinking makes him transcend. He defended Cuban independence and dignity, established socialism in the Western Hemisphere, gave the masses the power over their own destiny, and dedicated his entire lives to the prosperity of the country and to the happiness of the people. His valuable feats will shine forever in the heart of the people and of all humanity.
