Ernesto, captain of the Ministry of the Interior (MININT), was born on January 6, 1975 in Santiago de Cuba, a heroic and hospitable land. Hence his attachment to the Revolution and history. I did not know of his existence. I was not looking for him, either. I had a clear objective for this day: to honor, from this page, an official of the Ministry of the Interior; today, June 6, when these forces were created.
Integrity, loyalty and unconditionality gave him the possibility of entering the Ministry of the Interior, thanks to retired officer Frank Valdemira, who instilled in him the love for this profession. Ernesto studied at the Higher Counterintelligence Institute in Havana and graduated as an Officer.
Modesty, simplicity, humility, discipline and respect characterize Ernesto Pérez Estrada. For him, the family and the honor of serving the homeland conquer the first place in his life. His job occupies much of the time, but Ernesto also finds space for his wife and three children. This man is in charge of the Agro-alimentary sphere of the Artemisa province, from the honorable ranks of the Ministry of the Interior.
The Ministry of the Interior has many Ernestos. On these officers rests the tranquility of the citizen and the respect to the man's values in a socialist society. This is his chronicle, Ernesto Pérez Estrada!. Take it as an anniversary gift in the intense struggle by the path of honor, because as Jose Marti said: ''Man does not look on which side one lives best, but on which side lies duty"
