San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba.- The municipal act for the Tobacco Worker's Day, to be held on May 29, took place in the Ariguanabo.
With a tribute to Lázaro Peña and a cultural gala, six union leaders with more than 10 years of work were recognized. For the fulfillment of their economic, productive and union commitments, they were also stimulated: Integral Technical Services of the Lázaro Peña Enterprise, the entity's Enterprise Base Unit of insurance, who leads the agro-alimentary sphere in the territory, the Tabaco Torcido Habana Enterprise and the Cooperative Production Base Units ''Batalla de las Guásimas'', ''Ubaldo Díaz'' and ''Batalla de Palo Seco''.
They presided over the event: Idalberto Turcas, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC); Luisa Enrique Valdés, member of the Secretariat of the National Union of Agricultural, Forestry and Tobacco Workers, as well as leaders of political and mass organizations of Artemisa and San Antonio de los Baños.
