The team of the program "Educate your child" from San Antonio de los Baños visited the community "El campismo". The tour was part of the methodological strategy that prioritized the attention to volunteer promoters.
The program "Educate your child" carries out actions in the five People's Councils of the municipality, says Mercedes Cruz Enríquez, municipal methodologist of the program. This time the tour was aimed at providing support to the promoters and updating the census of the child population from zero to six years.
The team develops among its priorities the operation "Tún Tún", the visit to the homes and the preparation of the family, taking into account the age of the children and the achievements to be reached, says the methodologist.
Mercedes Cruz insists on the importance of the program, as well as the participation of the family, as the first educational influences are received at home. Working together contributes to physical, psychic and social development. In rural areas, remoteness limits the fulfillment of joint actions.
The municipal methodologist urges the family to join all the activities of the "Educate your child" program, and invites them to participate in the inaugural parade of the International Biennial of Humor, scheduled for next Sunday; as well as to the festival of gymnastic boards, to be held on April 28.
