From now until April 13, second year students of Documentary Direction specialty of the International School of Film and Television (EICTV) of San Antonio de los Baños will hold rehearsals in the eastern Sierra Maestra, as part of the exercise known as "One to one", in close collaboration with Serrana Television.

Students from Brazil, Mozambique, Germany and Cuba, under the supervision of specialized advisors, will research, plan and project a documentary in this mountainous region. This exercise is a challenge to the agility and creativity of those involved and stimulates their technical skills in the use of camera and sound. It is made by pairs of filmmakers, who complement their personal projects. One of them assumes photography and sound, and vice versa.

This joint initiative (EICTV-TV Serrana) has more than two decades, from which have emerged several of the most important works developed by students of the school, with great international impact; for example, José Manuel, La mula y el televisor (The mule and the television), Un paraíso (A paradise), Abecé (Abecé), Nada con nadie (Nothing with nobody), Pucha vida y Duelo (Pucha life and Duel).
