Coordinators from different areas of San Antonio de los Baños participated in the plenary session of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR). The activity evidenced the strengthening of the basic structures, vital for the functioning of the organization, and thus reach the 9th Congress with greater strength.
The unity between the members of the CDR and the officials was an aspect highlighted by the leaders of this organization at the national level. Participants addressed the fulfillment of blood donations, the epidemiological situation, the fight against social indisciplines and the knowledge of our history due to the significance of the revolutionary process for the new generations of cubans. The coordinators of the zones in the territory expressed their criteria of the work of the organization and its influence in the community projects that insert the young people. Several outstanding areas received a diploma of recognition.
Maribel Bravo, political-ideological of the Communist Party in the municipality concluded the plenary session with the premise that strength and unity overcome any obstacle. Presided over the meeting Esperanza Peña Pérez, official of the National Committee of CDRs, Argenis Kindelán Berroa, secretary of organization in the province of Artemisa and Isaac Leyva Marrero, coordinator of the CDR in San Antonio de los Baños.
