In the state institutions of San Antonio de los Baños continues the debate on the budget of the economy for the year 2017.
The workers involved in the discussion of the budget for the current year validate the constitutional right of all cubans, contribute to the approval of the plan, participate in the debate by presenting criteria and ideas to raise production levels, productivity and incomes, says Arisbel Aguiar Lazo, secretary general of the Workers' Union of Cuba (CTC) in the territory.
Aguiar points out that the process culminates in March. In the assemblies, the critical spirit and the analysis of core problems prevail. Political and mass organizations, the Administration Council and the Municipal Assembly of People's Power have participated. The secretary general points out that among the main approaches are: assessing the potential of each group so as not to neglect efficiency indicators such as planning, contracting, payment of wages, internal control and rational use of energy.
The process is fundamental in the conceptualization of the economic model, based on the participation of workers in the debate on the importance of having, within the system of work, the mechanism to combat indisciplines. In each labor group, it is insisted on compliance with the plan, control, progress of investments and accounts receivable and payable.
