Livestock farmers comply with beef delivery plans

Livestock farmers of San Antonio de los Baños comply with the state commitment to deliver beef to different destinations. During the last year, of a production plan of 235 tons, 164 were destined to national balance, a figure above that anticipated for this purpose; the rest of the beef was sent to the Military Agropecuaria Unit (UAM).

 

According to Elio Pino, head of Livestock Farming of the Agropecuaria Enterprise in this territory, this year, they should produce 175 tons of beef for the national balance and 75 additional for the UAM. In January, the plan was exceeded, by delivering 14 tons. In February, 15.1 tonnes were distributed in two parts, exceeding the corresponding 11.

 

During this month, the livestock UBPCs, as well as CCS, CPA and tobacco cooperatives, work to fulfill the state commitment of 15.8 tons. The efforts of the CPA Augusto César Sandino and the CCS Ernesto Che Guevara are recognized, although the most outstanding cooperative is the CCS Reinaldo Pérez, directed by young Yuniel González Paneque.
