The Hotel "Las Yagrumas" of the ‘’Cadena Islazul’’ (Hotel Chain Islazul), located in San Antonio de los Baños is immersed this year in a process of investment and maintenance, to recover mainly some rooms, in order to improve comfort and maintain the quality of the services.
At the same time, preventive maintenance actions are carried out, which help to improve the image of an institution that will be 27 years old in July and is close to the Ariguanabo River, which favors humidity conditions.
Although it is not a large-scale investment, the hotel receives the support of ’’Cadena Islazul’’ and the collective, while working with means and own resources, said Yadilén Hernández, commercial specialist of the facility.
These constructive actions include painting, decoration and repair of the rooms, as well as the facade of the hotel. In addition, boats, speedboats and water bikes of have been refurbished. Hygiene and care of the green areas outside the institution are maintained. All this makes possible to improve the conditions of a hotel whose guests are mainly clients of national companies, although a foreign market is also strengthened. The hotel is visited by Cuban-Americans, generally Cubans living abroad and their relatives who spend their vacations here.
