Members of the National Assembly of People's Power visited community projects

Rodríguez /RA Members of the National Assembly of People's Power, visited this March 8 different community projects of San Antonio de los Baños. In their tour through Ariguanabo they exchanged with the creators and artists that make up these social movements. Its objective was to better understand the work done with the community, in correspondence with the Municipal Assembly, the Administration Council and the electors.

The project "Barro sin Berro" (Clay without watercress) by the artisan Armando Acosta and his family, the group of fans ''Pintores del futuro’’ (Painters of the future) composed of young ex-prisoners and addicts to alcohol, and the ‘’Bosque Martiano del Ariguanabo’’ (Martiano Forest), were the sites visited by the members of the Cuban Parliament.

According to Zulema Tanquero Herrera, communicator of the National Assembly of People's Power and member of the group that visited San Antonio de los Baños, in addition to these community projects where color, design and history become art in order to play an educational and trainer role, the visitors learned about the project "La Dulce Quimera" (The Sweet chimera) and the work carried out by the child Marlon Méndez Cabrera, inspired by the work of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz.
