Seven runs in the first entry and the effective monticular work of left-handed Michael Ortiz, gave the Villa of Humor the tie in the semifinal baseball series in front of Guanajay, corresponding to the Provincial Series first category.
Michael worked for eight innings and although he allowed seven indisputable, he was able to stop the offensive of Guanajay to avoid being annotated. Among his rivals highlighted Victor Gonzalez, who hit three hits in three times at bat, the only one that managed to connect more than once.
The Ariguanabenses connected 12 unstoppable and made two errors, while the defense of Guanajay made equal amount of pifias. The defeat was to the account of Ricardo Martínez with homerun of William Hernandez, its fifth of the event and 157 within its work in provincial series.
Among the Ariguanabenses also excelled Yendris Magaña at the offense, with two hits in four home plate visits, as well as Yoice Su, but the latter with two trailers. Also William Hernandez and Yosvany Peñalver connected one hit in three appearances, but the first of them pushed two with his homerun.
Tomorrow they will be again at Pedro Julio Esperon Stadium of the White Villa and a duel of pitchers is expected between Camilo Ballester from San Antonio de los Baños and Yaniel Viera from Guanajay. The winner will be the finalist of this seventh edition.
