The agroecological movement from peasant to peasant in this municipality is getting ready for the 6th International Meeting on Agroecology and Sustainable Agriculture. The municipal program will be held during the months of March and April. Six classified farms, belonging to the Credit and Service Cooperatives (CCS) Vicente Pérez Noa, Reynaldo Pérez, Jesus Menéndez and Niceto Pérez, receive visits and advice from the agroecological program, with a view to preparing them for the event to be held in November.
The purpose of this international meeting is to exchange experiences on good ways of producing in the field. The program of the event includes lectures, work commissions, interactive panels, exhibitions, and other activities according to the plan of activities organized in each province of the country.
Ariguanabo’s producers who will participate in this edition intend to raise the quality of sowing and advance in agroecological culture.
