Ariguanabense combatants
San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba.- The Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution (ACRC) in San Antonio de los Baños awarded the medal 60th Anniversary of the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR) to Ariguanabense combatants.
Attended the meeting Jorge Luis Valle Portales, first secretary of the Party; Yohandy Pérez, head of the Council of the Municipal Administration and Mercedes Orosco, president of the Municipal Assembly. The honorees received their medals convinced to continue defending the conquests of the Revolution, keep alive Fidel’s legacy and support the socialism.
Fernando Pérez Rodríguez, president of the ACRC in Ariguanabo, said that in 2017 the medal will be given to other combatants in recognition of their presence in Playa Girón, the fight against bandits and internationalist missions.
