Contribution of the Workshop School

Workhop SchoolsWorkhop Schools San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba.- José de Maceo Workshop School of this municipality has 152 students. They are subdivided into diferent ministerial resolutions; No. 111: ninth-grade students may continue studying; No. 113: students who have been repeating during three years study to be skilled workers; No. 182: fifth or sixth-grade students who repeat and No. 48: ninth-grade students who come from special schools.

Thanks to these resolutions, the territory is working so that future skilled workers may contribute to the development of Ariguanabo. Students may learn handicraft, repair of minor appliances, textiles or construction and maintenance.

The teachers hired by the institution are the highest responsible for instilling and preparing the students in different trades that can make a significant contribution to the territory’s economy.
