Teodoro Pino Martín is a representative patriot of the Combatants’ Association 03-04 of the Eastern People's Council in San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa province.
He was born in Villa Clara on December 23th, 1947. Later he moved to Ariguanabo. His first studies were like those of any humble child, he reached the 5th grade at the Public School No. 21 without being able to continue studying due to the economic needs of his family. He joined the Association of Rebels Young, standing out for his opposition to the injustice.
After the triumph of the Cuban Revolution, Teodoro studied at the Artillery Anti-Aerial school of the Granma Base. There he was head of Radar of technical radio, at the same time he carried out other tasks like political instructor.
Once Teodoro Pino demobilized from the Revolutionary Armed Forces he was leader of the Young Communists League. He worked at Rubén Martínez Villena textile factory ‘’Alquitex’’ in Alquizar. He miliatted in the ranks of the Cuba‘s Communist Party.
Subsequently, he worked in the Political Section of the Military Unit 3219 of the Western Army, where he completed the Basic Course for Officers and graduated of Military Counterintelligence. Teodoro Pino Martín died on November 29th, 1978 from a traffic accident. He was buried in the pantheon of the martyrs, in the necropolis of San Antonio de los Baños.
