San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba.- The Municipal University Center (CUM) of this territory is planning cultural important activities for the community during the month of November.
The event ‘’Gerontovida 2016’’, with a regional character, will take place at the ariguanabense CUM, this November 16 as part of cultural activities of great impact for the community, says Yumara Bejerano Armas, director of the institution in Ariguanabo.
The specialist adds that the municipalities Güira de Melena, Alquízar, Bauta, Caimito and san Antonio de los Baños will exchange experiences at the Grandparents’ Home with the participation of the old people in exhibitions and crafts competitions as alternatives for the improvement of the quality of life with healthy habits and styles.
The director of San Antonio de los Baños’ CUM notes that they will celebrate anniversaries such as Students’ Day, Economist's Day and Educator's Day. In all cases they will be inserted in special morning with students from higher and pre-school education to join the municipality’s children. She also notes that they will recognize outstanding educators and the most comprehensive students in the current school year.
