Organic Urban Farm
The Group of Urban and Suburban Agriculture in this municipality during the visit to our territory on December 16 and 17 will highlight the achievements of ‘’Los Tres Hermanos’’ Organic Urban Farm as a proposal to obtain the ‘’National Reference Condition''.

This farm has the category of double excellence to maintain variety in the productions, including lettuce, chard, broccoli, cauliflower, carrot, beet and strawberry, precises Yaima Hernández, Director of the Urban Farm. Immersed in the transformation of crops, they apply agroecological techniques for the treatment of soils and use vermiculture as organic fertilizer, adds Yaima. The garden, proposed to national reference, complies with the sowing of papaya to delimit the land, in addition to its multiple properties and uses for the ariguanabense families.
‘’Los Tres Hermanos’’ keeps the floors operating in a step-by-step way with fresh products, among them varieties of ají, garlic, oregano. It also has results in the marketing through different points of sale and systematic deliveries to social programs.
