The third process of presenting accountability reports by municipal delegates to their constituents is carried out all over the country. My subject deals with the role the delegate plays in those meetings. In my opinion, they should organize, guide and listen to all members of their community. Then, They should take the citizens’ opinions and proposals to the entities implicated and respond to them.
The delegate is the person that we chose to represent us before the Municipal Assembly of the People's Power, therefore, he or she has all the confidence of its constituents. Now, this does not always work so precise. The road has cracks, people do not attend meetings and say: what for?, they do not solve any problem’’, Or ‘’that delegate is blah, blah, blah and nothing more’’.
Attending the meeting is a citizen's duty and we must support the delegate, the one who had our vote and that we decided to be our leader in the community. But, it is also important the neighborhood’s role to combat the social indisciplines such as extreme noises, micro-rubbish tips, blocks converted into football or baseball fields.
It is everyone's task to continue the process by joining forces with our delegate. Do not see the meeting as the moment to express dissatisfaction, the meeting is the moment to help each other and build the society we dream.
