San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba.- The Culture House in this town links writers and artists to community work for the spiritual development of the population and the promotion of the aesthetic taste.
One the objectives of the Culture House is the promotion of professional and amateur artists in all manifestations, so states Yitsia González, Director of this cultural institution in Ariguanabo. She outlines that activities include the participation of young artists and writers who have a permanent space to disseminate representative works of national and world literatura for the promotion of reading the best of Cuban culture.
Says the Director that the opening of exhibitions, meetings among creators and exchange between professional and amateur artists are not only developed in this center but in neighborhoods, communities and people's councils. These initiatives are contributions to propose healthy lifestyles and promote aesthetic taste from creative workshops and artistic appreciation addressed to all sectors of the community.
