LibrariesSan Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba.- ‘’Julio Rosas’’ library of our town maintains a constant work through outreach activities at schools and institutions, in order to encourage the habit of reading.
Its workers, despite the deterioration of the municipal library, offer activities in the Maternity Home, Grandparents' House and in some schools where they do activities for children, adolescents, youth and adults interested in this habit. Reading is very important from an early age as people can travel through different latitudes and times.
Reading consolidates knowledge of many subjects and improve significantly writing and oral expression. The workers of this cultural institution also support contests on reading that take place at schools, promoting this habit to expand the cultural universe of students.
